For two hours, the tour centered on the Mât Source® fountains installed on the site, in a very real-world setting: a lake, a park, walking paths, and areas for strolling, sports, relaxation, and taking a breather in the city.
It was an opportunity to demonstrate how drinking water facilities integrate into the daily life of a heavily trafficked public space: throughout the tour, journalists were able to observe usage patterns, ask questions about the site selection, and understand the value of these water stations in a location exposed to extreme heat.
This tour was led by Pascal Poncet, president of Water Connect; Margot Pejaudier, partner and eco-design specialist at Coopérative Mu; and Anne Dieleman, director of the Nature & Société association.
Beyond the product presentation, discussions focused on highly practical topics:
+ How should we approach water in public spaces?
+ How can we install accessible water stations?
+ How can we support local governments in adapting their communities?
+ How can we make a water fountain a simple, visible, sturdy, and truly used piece of infrastructure?
